Huawei's answer to the collapsible competition is named "Mate X", according to a revealed photo showing the Chinese telecom giant's advertising at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.
According to the advertisement, Huawei Mate X is the fastest 5G foldable phone in the world, with images showing the smartphone folded, half-folded and unfolded.
Similar to the Flexpai design, the screen is turned to the outside when the phone is folded. This approach is different from that of Samsung, which folds the screen inward and places a second smaller screen on the back of the Galaxy Fold.
It should be noted that the black "glasses" of the Mate X around the screen seem finer than those of its rivals.
The following information is unconfirmed rumors. The phone would be equipped with Huawei's Kirin 980 core chip, which also powers the company's latest Mate 20 smartphone. The 5G connection chip will also be made by Huawei, named Baron 5000.
A total of 512 GB of storage and 10 GB of memory can also be expected.
