In his first appearance in Los Angeles, Cincinnati Reds right-handed Yasiel Puig missed the Dodgers who handed out NLCS championship rings to his former players in the city.

Puig, who hit a homerun in his first game against Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, was shopping in Beverly Hills before the match, according to TMZ.

The Reds lost in a home encounter led by Joc Pederson.

He was more than an hour behind the pre-match press conference. Dave Roberts, manager of L.A, Mark Walter, owner, and two executives, presented 2018 National League pennant rings to former Dodgers Matt Kemp, Kyle Farmer and Alex Wood. Puig skipped the meeting and said that they could put the ring in his locker.

"I'm not sure about that," Puig said.

What interested him was to play for the fans. He feeds on their energy. The Dodgers broadcast a video featuring pre-game highlights for the four Dodgers traded against the Reds. Puig, Kemp and Farmer put on their hats in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
