The former girlfriend of YouTuber Ray Diaz "is afraid to go home" after leaving prison

Angelica Salek, Ray Diaz's ex-girlfriend, said she was "scared to go home" after the release of the social media star.

Ray Diaz, also known as Raymundo Diaz, was arrested on July 12 by detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department in San Diego, California, for suspicion of sexual assault.

The charges were brought against him on July 11 when his girlfriend, Angelica Salek, appeared on Drama Alert to speak about the situation. He received a $ 500,000 bail, but was released on bail on July 13 after someone paid $ 50,000. His release disrupted his ex-girlfriend who used Twitter to voice his concerns.

YouTuber Daniel 'Keemstar' Keem, whose video of Drama Alert on the situation apparently helped shed light on what was happening, tweeted a tearful video of Salek after Diaz was released.

"I just discovered that Ray was released from jail and I feel really scared right now," began the 17-year-old actress. "I do not know what to do. I'm afraid to go home and I do not think it's right. He got out of jail for $ 50,000 and I do not think everything he did, what fear made him feel good, I'm so scared to go home.

This video arrived an hour after she already revealed the news of Diaz's link with her Twitter followers.

"I've never been so scared of my life … Ray Diaz is out of jail," tweeted the young actress, clearly upset by the news.

Of course, Salek received a lot of support from her supporters and other people who saw the scared tweet – many reassured her that she would be fine.

Others suggested she look for friends and family she could count on, as the actress said her mother worked closely with detectives to keep her safe.

Neither Diaz nor any of his relatives made any official statement concerning his arrest or subsequent release.
