T.J. Cunningham, a Seattle Seahawks sixth round draft pick in the 1996 NFL draft, was shot to death in a parking dispute in Aurora, Colorado.

According to Associated pressCunningham, senior assistant at Hinkley High School in Aurora, was shot in a parking lot between two schools. Police arrested Marcus Johnson, 31, and charged him with first degree murder for shooting.

According to 9NEWS, Cunningham and Johnson were neighbors and were arguing about parking, which included SMS taunts and a physical altercation the weekend before the shooting.

Cunningham was the 209th selection of the 1996 NFL draft. Former Green Bay Green Bowl Packers goaltender Marco Rivera was selected with the selection immediately prior to Cunningham's selection. He played nine games with a rookie before a knee injury ended his season. He was placed on the list of people physically unable to perform the following season before being released by the Seahawks.
