The end-of-season live event that just took place in Fortnite was the biggest game to date, Epic Games confirmed. The Galactus event, which concluded FortniteThe current Marvel-themed season had a record 15.3 million concurrent players, the company said in a Tweeter.

The event saw players team up to stop Marvel’s supervillain from destroying Fortnitethe island by piloting a combat bus loaded with explosives to feed him.

Fortnite is currently on hold as Epic prepares to launch Season 5. Anyone starting the game right now will see a countdown to the next season – it’s currently set at just under six hours.
