As the name suggests, the chip will be an upgraded version of the Exynos 9820 which should hopefully offer a slight improvement in performance, but more importantly, it will apparently be manufactured on the 7-nanometer process . This should result in increased efficiency and battery life for users, reducing the differences between Snapdragon and Exynos variants of Samsung's next flagship projects.
