The Genesis Mint concept is the ultimate alternative for SUVs

While many automakers are moving away from small car segments for commercial vehicle safety, Genesis' latest concept is an all-in-one compact.

The Royal Mint is a two-seater electric two-seater door for urban drivers. The automaker did not detail its technical specifications, but said it was designed to travel about 200 miles per charge. For now, it's mostly the style that matters.

With a shape that falls somewhere between a sedan and a sedan, the Mint presents ultra-smooth surfaces, with the exception of a tiny grille opening that looks like a mouth.

This is a signature feature, however, are a pair of scissor style doors that open to provide access to the trunk. In front of her is a leather-lined cabin with a bench seat, a rectangular steering wheel with a screen in the middle. and three small round pods on each side.

There are also three pedals, which does not make much sense for an electric car, but who knows what they have planned.

For now, it is not planned to put it into production, but there would be nothing like it, if Genesis had ever done it.
