Google I / O finally delivered the "Nest Hub Max" smart screen and also confirmed the new Google Nest branding. Replacing Google Home, this new brand is expected to support almost all products for Google's smart home. As of tonight, the company has begun to extend this brand to products already on the market.

Reported first by Ron Amadeo of ArsTechnica on Twitter, the Google Nest brand has already begun to roll out into many of the smart home products already available in its portfolio. This includes the classic Nest Thermostat, various cams and even the Hello Video doorbell. Google has updated this branding on both its support forums and the Google Store.

This change is pretty minor for most Nest products, but it adds a lot to the name. Examples include the Google Nest secure alarm system or the Google Hello Hello video doorbell. This could be a lot worse, but the simple fact of adding "Google" to the brand of these Nest products certainly does not help memorization. The complete list follows:

Notably, Google has still not renamed its smart speakers with this new brand. The Nest Hub and Google Nest Hub Max are still the only products associated with this change. However, this could change in the near future.
