Tom Girardi’s younger brother Robert is now officially his curator.

Robert filed official letters of trusteeship on Monday, making him the guardian of Tom and his estate.

Court documents obtained by Page Six show a “major neurocognitive disorder” as the reason for the guardianship.

Robert’s letters follow a previous ruling made at a hearing in June, when Robert was made Tom’s permanent curator, despite Tom’s protests.

“Obviously, I strongly disagree with the guardianship,” Tom, 82, told a judge his brother’s controlling his person, his estate and his finances.

“I think we should put together the reasons why the trusteeship should be dissolved, and then we’ll deal with it, go to court. At the moment, I have nothing to say in court.

Page Six reported in early February that Robert was appointed his brother’s temporary curator after Tom suffered a medical emergency. A month later, Erika Jayne’s ex-husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and late-onset dementia after undergoing a medical evaluation as part of his brother’s efforts to be named permanent curator of Tom.

Tom’s health issues and guardianship battle come amid a variety of legal issues, including a divorce from the “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and the loss of her state bar admission. California.

The “RHOBH” star, 49, filed for disbandment weeks before being sued by a law firm representing victims of the Lion Air 610 flight for allegedly embezzling money in connection with their divorce.

Additionally, last year, Tom’s former law firm partner Robert Keese took legal action to dissolve their company, 1126 Wilshire Partnership. Keese and other attorneys alleged that Tom failed to pay them the estimated $ 315,000 they earned from the partnership, instead pocketing the money “for his own personal gain.”
