According to local reports, a girl died from the aftermath of a cruise ship moored in Puerto Rico.
On Sunday, a Royal Caribbean ship was moored when the girl of one and a half years slipped from her grandfather's arms and plunged eleven floors into the concrete of Pan American Wharf II in San Juan, reported Telemunder PR.
The family of eight from Indiana, USA, was on vacation on the Freedom of the Seas cruise ship when the tragic accident occurred.
Later on Sunday afternoon, the captain of the ship offered his condolences to the families and announced that the departure of the ship would be delayed, reported Primera Hora.
Police question passengers and relatives who witnessed Sunday's tragic fall.
Local police said the accident was "very sad and tragic".
Royal Caribbean has not yet responded to requests for media comment.
