Bungie released new details to players for Season Of The Hunt’s epic return at Destiny 2: Beyond the Light. If you are unaware of what is going on in this mode, the followers of Xivu Arath seek to seize power for an unknown purpose which is really never explained, but we are sure we will have one. The Guardians will have to work with Spider to hunt down new villains and take them down, while also explaining why Xivu is gathering recruits by his side. It’s a fun little adventure that isn’t for the weak in skills, as you’ll essentially dive into what feels like an endless supply of enemies who don’t like you trying to invade their clubhouse. All kidding aside, this is one of the best game modes and there are a lot of rewards that some come with. You can read more below and check out the trailer as the hunt has already started.

Season of the Hunt brings a new power level cap and a new artifact with new mods and combat improvements. The hunting season will run from November 10 to February 9 and the season mission will start on November 17. Players will be able to hunt down followers of Xivu Arath in a new season-specific activity. During the holiday period in Destiny 2: Beyond the Light, the Dawning Seasonal Event will also return, and Guardians will once again be able to deliver cookies across the galaxy. This year, new recipes will be available for delivery to old and new friends, offering players event packages and a new weapon. Additionally, Season of the Hunt will feature a plethora of new activities and gear:

• Hawkmoon exotic quest.
• New weapons for the trials of Osiris.
• New ritual armor sets.
• New Season Pass and rewards.
• New universal armor ornaments.
