The 20-year-old JUST Foundation and the First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church jointly announced the deployment of a mobile water filtration system that they jointly designed and developed.

The Water Box, as the new system calls it, reduces lead and other potential contaminants. His introduction into the city comes as bottled water donations to Flint continue to decline. Flint was struggling to recover from a state-caused water crisis due to contamination of its main water source, a crisis that made headlines of the national press in April 2014.
Michigan's former governor, Rick Snyder, announced last April that the state would stop supplying free bottles of water to residents of Flint because the city's water quality had been "below thresholds set by the federal rules of lead and copper for nearly two years.

But that is far from the case.
"We continue to tackle our water problems, change the lead and galvanized pipes and get Flint lead," said Flint Mayor Karen Weaver last month.
First Trinity and JUST will host a private launch of the Water Box on Saturday, March 2nd.
