Mike Maccagnan checked his free agency wish list again on Monday.

The Jets filled their need for a decisive pass by agreeing to an agreement with linebacker Anthony Barr.

After missing Kwon Alexander, who will sign with the 49ers, the Jets general manager has landed at Barr, the former Viking, who will begin his sixth season in the NFL.

The 27-year-old has competed in the Pro Bowl in each of the past four seasons and will be joining Program 3-4 of defensive coordinator Gregg Williams.

This is the latest busy day for the Jets, who have also caught receivers Jamison Crowder and Josh Bellamy. They would also be in the lineup of independent agent Matt Paradis and midfielder Le'Veon Bell.
