According to a person familiar with this case, the Judiciary Committee of the House is assessing whether Whitaker parjured himself when he told the commission that the White House had not never asked about ongoing investigations.
"At no time did the White House request or provide any promises or commitments regarding the Special Counsel's investigation or any other investigation," Whitaker told the House Judiciary Committee this month. this.
