Less than two hours after returning to deliberate on the remaining eight criminal charges in the trial of former NFL player Kellen Winslow, Jr., jurors sent a note to the judge, informing them of their stalemate .
Judge Blaine K. Bowman questioned the jury on the division of the remaining counts and declared a no trial on those counts.

On Monday, jurors sentenced Winslow for count 4, raped by force or fear of Jane Doe 2; charge leader 6, indecent exposure involving Jane Doe 3; and Chief 9: obscene conduct involving Jane Doe 5. Winslow was found not guilty of Count 10, a second lustful leader involving Jane Doe 5.
The jury deliberated for six days.
In total, Winslow was charged with 12 counts: three counts of force or fear, kidnapping for rape, rape of an unconscious person, copulation, elder abuse and battery charges.
The jurors listened for several days to the testimony of five different women who accused the former NFL player of sexual assault and indecent assault from June 2003 to earlier this year.
Jane Doe 1 stated that she had been raped when a man in an SUV had stopped to pick her up while she was hitchhiking to Encinitas in March 2018.
Jane Doe 2 said that an SUV man had taken on Vulcan Avenue and had raped her on Manchester Avenue in May 2018.
Jane Doe 3 said that a man had been exposed to her while she was gardening at a Lake Drive residence in May 2018.
Jane Doe 4 said that a man had raped her while she was unconscious in a Scripps Ranch townhouse at age 17 in June 2003.
Jane Doe 5 stated that a man had been exposed to her twice in a Carlsbad gym and had started masturbating in front of her in February 2019.
Winslow pleaded not guilty to all charges.
