President Donald Trump said Sunday that the key findings of the report by special advocate Robert Mueller and Attorney General William Barr were a "total exemption."
"There was no obstruction, no, and it was a total and total exemption," said Trump, speaking in front of reporters outside Air Force One while he was there. The president's remarks came just after he tweeted similar remarks about the results.

In a letter to the heads of the Senate and House Judiciary Committees, Attorney General William Barr wrote that Mueller's investigation did not conclude that the Trump campaign or its collaborators were in collusion with the Russian government in order to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Another Trump attorney, Jay Sekulow, told NBC News that he was "very satisfied" with Barr's memoir on the Mueller report. Speaking with Katy Tur, of NBC News, Sekulow said: "We think it's a complete victory for the president."
Trump's legal team then stated in a statement that Barr's memoir on the Mueller report was "a full and complete justification of the president".
Brad Parscale, director of Trump's 2020 campaign, issued a statement on behalf of the president's re-election campaign, saying the Democrats "took us for two years on a frantic, chaotic and conspiratorial roller coaster, alleging wrongdoing. "

White House advisor Kellyanne Conway took a winning turn on Twitter, posting an image of an appearance in Fox News in which he held blank sheets of paper stating that he was not there. had no "collusion" between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Trump was unusually quiet within 36 hours of submitting the report. He has published virtually nothing on Twitter, except for subscribers to "have a good day" Sunday morning. He called for the release of the report last week, telling White House South Lawn's journalists "to let things happen, to let people see it." The president has regularly called the Mueller probe "a witch hunt".
Hogan Gidley, the White House's senior press officer, told reporters Sunday that Trump was feeling "good," but declined to say what the president thought of the conclusion of Mueller's investigation.
Mueller's mission was to investigate Russia's interference in the 2016 elections and determine whether the Trump campaign was complicit with Russian officials. Mueller's investigation culminated in the indictment or conviction of 34 people, among them important Trump collaborators, such as former campaign president, Paul Manafort, and the former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. None of these charges, however, included any direct allegation of collusion with the Russians to tip the election of 2016. The Mueller inquiry has expanded to include a review to determine whether the president was obstructing justice.
Nevertheless, elements of the Mueller probe are being further investigated in jurisdictions such as the US District Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and Congress, where Democrats have launched new investigations aimed at president, his associates and his administration.
