The Kardashians have a big family reunion for Thanksgiving, ignoring CDC COVID guidelines

Yet another holiday, another opportunity for the Kardashians to come together despite expert advice not to do so during a pandemic! Many Kardashian-Jenners gathered at Kris’ Palm Springs home for Thanksgiving on Thursday and showed photos from their lavish reunion on Instagram.

As BuzzFeed pointed out, the table appeared to be set for 14 people. The California Department of Public Health has, on its website, banned gatherings with more than three households. Before Thanksgiving, the CDC recommended that no one in separate households spend the holidays together: “Gatherings with family and friends who don’t live with you can increase the chances of catching or spreading COVID-19 or flu, “the site reads. Further down the page, the CDC provided advice to those who decided to rally together, saying wearing masks and staying six feet away from anyone who doesn’t live with you would help prevent the virus from spreading.

At first glance, the Kardashian-Jenners weren’t wearing masks, and they all seemed to mingle pretty freely.

“Kylie and I are twin nails, and we’re very festive,” Khloé Kardashian said on her Instagram Story, as she and her younger sister showed off their coordinated Christmas-themed manicures. Kylie posted a photo of their matching nails to her Instagram:

The kiddos also seemed to be having a good time:

And they enjoyed the delicious spread; Khloé caught Kourtney filling her plate:

There was a wall of honey and an s’mores station:

On her story, Khloé said she made a few Oreo-based desserts, but it doesn’t look like Kourtney was really in the mood to bake or cook this year. Kylie called her older sister on her Instagram Story, saying, “Kourtney’s contribution to Thanksgiving,” before showing off a plate of chips and what looks like onion dip. “All day and night she worked on this.”

Kylie also shared the cutlery for the evening, which included plates with very realistic turkeys:

She shared a few selfies with her mom, Kris, as they promoted Black Friday sales for Kylie’s skin care and cosmetics lines:

To top it off, however, she and Kendall did this (admittedly hilariously) TikTok:

Anyway. Wear a mask. Listen to the CDC. Happy black friday!
