On August 24, Miami-Florida was transferred to Week 0 for the opening of the 150th University Football Season. The schedule is set so that most teams have two weeks of inactivity instead of one. The semifinals of the playoffs will be held on December 28, but the game for the national championship will not be played until January 13.
