The Lakers rumors are warming up and you can thank LeBron James

LeBron James is working on the recruitment of independent agents.

While the Lakers' front office continues to determine who is sitting at the top of the table, LeBron James is taking the initiative to bring this franchise back to the playoffs.

The only way to proceed is to inject many more superstar talents into the list. The guitar solos by Lance Stephenson were nice and all, but the range of Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka playmakers led to 37 wins and a early offseason.

Say what you want about General Manager LeBron, but the time has come for him to take over, massage his ego and convince anyone to put himself in his place.

Pelinka do not have the confidence persuade a free star agent. The rest of the Lakers front office does not have the gravity that was his. So, thankfully, LeBron is already putting those minutes at work at all times.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, who participated in "Pardon the Interruption", James has already contacted two or three renowned names that are expected to be available this summer.

James is doing everything in his power to send Edible Arrangements to his friends. Windhorst explains that it may be for no, however.

From what I understood, [LeBron] has already begun the recruitment process. I heard that he had contacts with Kawhi Leonard. I heard that he had had a contact with Jimmy Butler.
