CBS takes you back to 1993, a year after the events of Thesilenceofthelambs, with a whole new series of suites “ClariceWhich will head to CBS and CBS All Access next week.

Breeds of Rebecca (“Pretty Little Liars”) will play the role of Clarice Starling. The previously announced cast also includes Michael cudlitz like Paul Krendler, Lucca de Oliveira the Tomas Esquivel, Kal Penn like Shaan Tripathi, Nick sandow as Agent Clarke, Devyn tyler like Ardelia Mapp and Carpenter Marnee as Thesilenceofthelambs character Catherine Martin.
“Clarice takes place in 1993, one year after the events of Silence of the Lambs. The series is a deep dive into the untold personal story of Clarice Starling, as she returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high-stakes political world of Washington, DC.
“Bright and vulnerable, Clarice obtained her Magna diploma from AVU with a double specialization in psychology and criminology. Her bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. Her complex psychological makeup comes from a difficult childhood, and her motivation comes from her need to escape the burden of family secrets that haunted her throughout her life.
Elizabeth klaviter (“The Resident”) will broadcast “Clarice”, working alongside writers / executive producers Alex kurtzman and Jenny lumet. Maja Vrvilo directs the pilot.
