Co-president of Naughty Dog and creative designer of The Last of Us Part II and Uncharted 4, Neil Druckmann has revealed the established IPs he would like to make a game for.

Asked by Kinda Funny Game’s Greg Miller, the question is purely speculative and shouldn’t be taken seriously as a clue at all to what Naughty Dog is up to next.

That said, it’s still interesting to imagine what it would be like if Druckmann and the Naughty Dog team decided to make a game set in the Punisher universe.

Here are Druckmann’s top 5:

The Punisher is really interesting. I just finished The Last of Us Part II myself and the violent gameplay in this title would definitely work well in a game set in the world of the Punisher.

This one looks like it might actually be plausible someday if Naughty Dog ever had the time and could be allowed to work with the IP.

However, we are entering a land of pure fantasy with some of the other choices. I’m salivating at the idea of Naughty Dog making a Hotline Miami game, but that will never happen and neither will Half-Life.

That’s good because again, it’s purely hypothetical. Don’t be seduced by a Cowboy Bebop game developed by Naughty Dog!
