Sony is bringing major games to PlayStation Now this month, and they’re not getting much bigger than The Last of Us Part II. The last entry in Naughty Dog’s don’t-call-them-zombies, the post-apocalypse saga arrived in June 2020 and if there hadn’t been Underworld, it may have won all of the Game of the Year 2020 awards. The Last of Us Part II is excellent, but don’t go expecting a relaxing day at the beach.

Hitting PS Now is also Fallout 76, a multiplayer entry in the Fallout series from Bethesda, owned by Microsoft. The rest of this month’s additions are Final Fantasy VIII remastered, Desperados III, Amnesia: Collection, Yet Another Zombie Defense and Victor Vran: Overkill Edition.

All of these games will be released on PS Now on October 5th. The Last of Us Part II, which you can play on PC via the service, will be available to subscribers until January 3.

If you don’t want to sign up for PS Now, but still want to check out TLO2, the game is currently on sale on the PlayStation Store. Sony has slashed hundreds of other titles as part of the Blockbuster Games sale, including Return, Sackboy: a great adventure, Days Gone and God of the war.
