The latest laptop from Google is a backpack Yves Saint Laurent

The Cit-e backpack follows the smart trucker jacket that Google released with Levi's in 2017. The latter was primarily aimed at cyclists who could not access their phone while driving. By tapping and sliding the left cuff, they can control their music, listen to incoming messages and ask for detailed instructions, among other small but useful features. At the moment, we do not know what the Cite-e backpack will be able to trigger on your phone. These same features would however make sense for people who do not wish to dig up their handset while standing in the subway.

Like Levi's commuter jacket, the Cit-e backpack is expensive. Like, 795 € (878 $) expensive. I rarely buy something at Yves Saint Laurent, but I guess the price shown matches that of their other creators. An image published by Google's Advanced Technology & Projects (ATAP) group on Instagram indicates that the bag will be sold "exclusively" by Rive Droite, an "organized and creative sales space" in Paris and Los Angeles. The bag is listed on the Yves Saint Laurent website, however, with a pre-order button and an estimated delivery date of "no later than" October 15, 2019.
