FDG Entertainment launches today a new patch for Monster Boy and the cursed kingdom on Nintendo Switch, and it comes with a nice little touch for Switch Lite owners.
The developer actually teased the fix last month, claiming he had "a fun idea" for the game running on a Switch Lite. Now we know exactly what this idea consists of:
As you can see, after you install the Version 1.0.5 hotfix of the game, you can change the UI to display some color schemes. The turquoise, yellow and gray colors used for the Switch Lite launch models are all available, which means you can match the interface to your new shiny console, but there are also red, pink and green options – that marry so well with Joy- Con colors found on the original switch.
If you have purchased a Switch Lite yourself, and especially if you have opted for one of the yellow or turquoise options, you will know how beautiful these colors are in the flesh. We very much like the idea of a game. Adjusting to match them as you play.
What do you think? A nice touch, or not so bright? Share your thoughts with us below.
