In patch 2.5.2.2, Bungie improves Destiny 2Reckoning activity. Bungie also reduces some of the most awkward stipulations for quests like Wendigo and Mountaintop, and eliminates some annoying barriers to Braytech schemes. This new patch concerns the quality of life.
With version 2.5.2.2, players can now take 9,999 planetary materials, gunsmith materials, Vanguard tokens, crucible tokens, and Iron Banner tokens. That's 10 times more than the previous cap of 999.
The Braytech schemes, which players use to win unique weapons from Ana Bray on Mars, also have a boost. Players are no longer limited to one per day. The abandonment rate is now 25%, up from the mysteriously low number from before.
When players reveal a pattern, there is a much greater chance that Ana will offer them a weapon they have not yet acquired. Since players need all weapons to win the Wayfarer title in the game, this raise should remove some of the randomness associated with this title.
Bungie also reduces the pain in both Pinnacle grenade launcher quests.
For the Wendigo SR-3, players will earn double their progress by grenade killing and will no longer lose their progress in the event of death. Multikills also give 50% more progress and playlist strikes are much more effective.
For the quest At the top of a mountain, players need more than 75 multiple skills, compared to 200 previously. For the medal stage, simply collect 25 and not more than 100. Players will earn even more points for these actions in the Competitive Playlist.
Changes to Gambit Prime and Reckoning should make farming more efficient. Both Reckoning and Gambit Prime have improved protection against bad luck, which means that players are more likely to get a weapon after they have not been dropped. Reckoning's level 3 dropout rate is now higher, which is the difficulty of the activity. Bungie also reduces the health of his enemies and the damage he suffers in Reckoning to make things easier.
Patch 2.5.2.2 is now available to all Destiny 2 players.
