Tonight, on Twitter, Nintendo announced that Mario Kart Tour would be launched on mobile devices on September 25, in less than a month. Nintendo had first announced that the Mario Kart Tour would be launched by March this year, but it clearly missed that goal of about six months.

Android users can sign up for Mario Kart Tour on the Google Play Store now. The iOS list is also online and allows users to pre-order the free app. 9to5Google launched the beta earlier this year.

The other details about Mario Kart Tour for iPhone and Android are unclear, but we should start learning more in the coming weeks. Nintendo announced earlier this year that Mario Kart Tour will be free to try, much like Super Mario Run. However, you will probably need integrated purchases to exceed a certain level. According to the list in the App Store, in-app purchases range from $ 1.99 to $ 69.99.

At launch, Mario Kart Tour for iOS will be optimized for iPhone and iPad, much like Super Mario Run. An Apple TV app would certainly be nice, but there is no precedent for that.
