The LG UltraFine 5K screen is no longer available at Apple in the United States.

Apple no longer offers LG UltraFine 5K screen from the Apple Store in the United States. The monitor is now listed as "out of stock" and is not available for pickup in stores.

The LG 5K screen was in stock and could be shipped recently. The lack of stock has therefore occurred in recent days. The listing for the display has not been removed from the Apple site. Therefore, it is not clear if Apple plans to restock the monitor or if Apple has finished selling it permanently.

Last month, Apple removed the online list of the LG UltraFine 4K Monitor. Before it was retired, the 4K monitor had been listed for some time as "out of print". Apple might consider removing the 5K monitor from the site. in the near future too.

The UltraFine 4K and 5K displays were developed by LG in partnership with Apple and were created for use with the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro models, which supported Thunderbolt 3 for the first time.

The 27-inch 5K UltraFine display features 5120 x 2880 resolution, a wide P3 color gamut, and 85W output power for Macbook Pro. Apple sold it for $ 1,299. The 27-inch 5K UltraFine display continues to be available from Best Buy, B & H Photo and Amazon, and is still listed on the LG website.

Apple is phasing out the LG screens, as they are several years old and a new Apple branded screen is in preparation. Apple is currently developing a high-end, high-end modular Mac Pro and is planning a 31.6-inch 6K display to accompany it.

The new screen has been described as a high-end screen for Apple business users. It is therefore likely to be expensive and not adequately replace the 4K and 5K screens that were no longer available at Apple.
