The Lincoln Navigator Black Label 2019 returns to luxury

Our tester was a Black Label with the interior theme "yacht club", which brings blue leather and slightly sun-bleached woods. No doubt this is one of the most breathtaking interiors of all the vehicles on sale today. It is well designed, carefully landscaped and full of premium metals and wood. Combined with the beautiful Chroma Crystal Blue paint, the Navigator is one of the most distinctive and spectacular vehicles we have ever tested.

Turn it on and it continues to impress. You really can not hear the engine idling with the only sounds at rest coming from the slow swelling of the Navigator's 30-way adjustable solid-seat air tanks or the incredibly good Revel sound system. We tested audio systems costing more than $ 5,000 that did not sound as good. Only Meridian Jaguar Land Rover systems can compete.

Part of this must be attributed to Navigator's silence on the road. The stereo has nothing to compete with; the engine is almost undetectable at low loads and there is no noise intrusion from the road when driving in the city. The suspension also has plenty of room to absorb large bumps, making it one of the most comfortable urban rides on the market.

Luxury does not stop there: the Navigator offers all the features you would need in a car. Its interior is incredibly massive and can accommodate six adults and even a seventh – though thinner – on the center seat at the back. The seats in the second row are huge, with their own heating function and central console. Climate controls and controls for the large panoramic sunroof are accessed via a control panel in the middle of the row. Cheap seats are not a punishment.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are coming out, but Ford's infotainment system is good enough for us to use it. There are many nice physical buttons to control the infinite list of active safety and convenience features. More importantly, there are many technologies to help control the enormous size of the barge. You will be grateful for the 360-degree camera and the automatic parking feature, which works in parallel and perpendicular parking.
