Today, lead producer on Dragon Age 4, Fernando Melo, has left BioWare, a company in which he has been working for 12 years. As you may know, this only happened two days after BioWare left, its other main producer, Ben Irving. However, unlike Melo, who was working on the new Dragon Age, Irving was the main producer of Anthem. According to Melo, he leaves voluntarily and probably on good terms. As for the reason for his departure, the producer does not divulge too much detail, but he notes that he is trying to disconnect and that he wants to explore new creative ideas. The news of the departure reached Melo's personal Twitter account, and via the following thread:
(1/4) Today was my last day at BioWare. After 12 years … it's a bunch of sensations. 🙂
Tonight, I wrote my name in our local pub, along with many other amazing peers over the years, and it reminded me of a lot of people I miss so much. pic.twitter.com/MFQELPM2jr

"There is really no easy way to summarize all the fantastic experiences and friendships in our studios, our partners and in our community, which I've been fortunate to be part of over the years. ", adds a follow-up tweet.
(3/4) Here is my email from the studio because it also addresses all those with whom I had the pleasure of working before, and who helped to make it a fun and unforgettable driving, but who could not receive this email. . pic.twitter.com/E1c4q2UafF

(4/4) To be clear, it's my own decision. I wanted to take the time to disconnect and explore some ideas for the next chapter of my career.
So, what's next … well, watch this space 🙂

As you can see in the email above, Melo mentions the new Dragon Age, referring to him as the "definitive Dragon Age experience."
"I am incredibly proud and honored to have played a role in this project and I look forward to the opportunity to experience the following experience. Dragon Age as a fan this time, "added Melo.
Dragon Age 4 is currently in development at BioWare. At the time of publication, no publication window, platform, or even final name has been given. For more information, media and information about this, click here.
