Warner Bros / HBO Max has released bandwidth for its upcoming 2021 slate and presents the first look at the highly anticipated Sopranos prequel, The Many Saints Of Newark.
Michael Gandolfini – who is the son of the late actor James Gandolfini – is pictured portraying the younger version of the character his father made famous; Tony Soprano.
It wasn’t the only movie featured in the over 1.5-minute video, as there were also short clips from upcoming films: Dune, The Suicide Squad, Godzilla Vs. Kong, In The Heights, Judas and the Black Messiah, King Richard, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, and Mortal Kombat.

The prequel cast includes Ray Liotta, Vera Farmiga and Alessandro Nivola as Dickie Moltisanti, the father of Michael Imperioli’s original Christopher Moltisanti series, and is slated for release on September 24.
The Suicide Squad – slated for release August 6 – was also shown near the end of the clip as Idris Elba (Bloodsport) and John Cena (Peacemaker) could be seen having a humorous conversation.
Bloodsport says, “Nobody likes a show off”.
Peacemaker replies, “ Unless what they’re showing is dope like f … ”

Godzilla vs Kong, which stars Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Eiza Gonzalez and Jessica Henwick, has also been featured and is set for release on May 19.

It’s also worth adding that no movies premiering on HBO Max will be available to subscribers at no additional cost for 31 days before they temporarily leave the service.
