“The Masked Dancer” is one of our favorite new shows of 2021. We can’t get enough of it and we love watching famous people in bulky costumes do difficult dance moves. On the Season 1 premiere episode, which aired December 30, five celebrities danced and four of them made the cut; Disco Ball has been exposed to reveal rapper-turned-actor Ice-T (“Law & Order: SVU”).
We’ve been busy since that premiere going through the clues and performance videos and have all of your “The Masked Dancer” spoilers, including the identity of the group’s most energetic dancer, Tulip, who is performing again on the 20th. January.
In episode 1, the tulip blew us away with its whimsical footwork on “Fergalicious” Fergie. The four judges (Paula Abdul |, Brian Austin Green, Ken jeong, Ashley tisdale) were far from their assumptions Charli D’Amelio, Ariana Grande or Heather morris. The only word the Tulip uttered as herself was “threefold.” as a threat.
We didn’t hear Tulip’s real voice during the clues video as she said, “Hey guys, I thought I wouldn’t have anything to say in this video. But then I found this gem. I don’t want it to sound like one of those good guys and bad guys. But growing up, I was teased all the time. “I’m allergic to you. “You smell dirt. “OK, bloomer. My confidence has dropped. But I did my best not to have any trolls in my head. I packed my bags and found a new, sunnier place to live. People were cold with the weird things about me. For the first time, I felt that I could really breathe and be myself. Tonight my dance is dedicated to all those who are trying to find their place in the world. After all, we are all in the same boat. “

All of this and the accompanying visual clues tell us that the tulip is Mackenzie ziegler, who rose to fame in the “Dance Moms” reality TV series. Tulip’s punching abilities have convinced her that she is a trained dancer. Mackenzie and his older sister Maddie Ziegler, rose to fame on this long-running reality TV series from 2011; we even saw the number “11” on a box.
Another visual clue was a ticket to travel from AL to DC. If it’s tempting to think that this suggests a trip from Alabama to the nation’s capital, these are also the initials of the Abby Lee Dance Company, which was at the heart of “Dance Moms.”

We ruled out the tulip being Maddie because the clues match Mackenzie so well. She is causing a stir on TikTok, which is suggested by the alarm clock and the sign Tulip gives when finishing her number. And she performed on stage in “The Wizard of Oz,” which was referenced by Tulip’s Ruby Shoes which she clicked three times.
To top it off, Mackenzie uses the short form “Mack,” like in the mac and cheese dish we see in the video.
