The moment now removed from Meghan Markle could give clues to the decor of Frogmore Cottage

Meghan Markle's snapshot, now deleted, could provide clues to the decorating style of Frogmore Cottage, the recently renovated home she shares with Prince Harry. Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Markle gave the public a glimpse of her Toronto home on Instagram, showing her tastes in home decorating.

Her address (and job title) may have changed, but Markle's decorating preferences probably did not. Read on to learn how she decorated her Toronto home, which Markle may have transferred to Frogmore Cottage.

Markle created Pinterest-worthy thumbnails

First of all, what is a vignette? In terms of decoration, it is a grouping of objects. Markle showed her talent for creating eye-catching vignettes in her Toronto home where she lived during the filming of the legal drama Suit.

When she had an Instagram account (R.I.P.), thumbnails were often featured. The current Duchess of Sussex liked to associate books (more details on the later decoration of Markle) with fresh flowers and candles.

While we do not know for sure if Markle has decorated Frogmore Cottage with vignettes, we assume she has added a personal touch to her house and to Prince Harry's. Maybe she did a vignette with a candle, flowers and a picture of her and her son, Prince Harry, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor? Or mixed in some wedding photos?

She liked to add mirrors in any space

The Duchess of Sussex posted a number of selfie-mirrors in her day on Instagram, which we are grateful for as we were able to see her decorating with prowess.

We know that she had a big mirror in her living room and another in her room. Both mirrors looked like flea market finds that contrasted nicely with the rest of Markle's more modern and trendy decor.

Mirrors are not only practical, they make a room look bigger. Not that Markle and Prince Harry need help to make Frogmore Cottage look bigger (it would have 10 rooms), signage mirrors can add a fun touch to any room.

We would not be surprised to see Markle's mirrors from his Toronto riding at Frogmore Cottage.

Markle decorated with books in a unique way

The Duchess of Sussex cleverly decorated her home in Toronto with books. His Instagram account contained books on the coffee table and in his guest room, but it is clear that Markle sprayed them in almost every room of his house.

In two Instagram photos of his dog Guy (who was to hang out in the bedroom), we had a glimpse of how Markle was decorated with books. She did not just place books on a shelf, she sorted them by color to create a rainbow effect on the shelves of her bed and breakfast.

She also piled books, always by color, on the floor of the guest room to create some kind of funky table. Look behind his dog on the picture below to see what we hear.

She used striped accent pieces

Markle had a striped rug at the bottom of his Toronto home stair as well as striped outdoor furniture in his garden. His love of the classic style has not changed since his arrival in the royal family. As Duchess of Sussex, she was photographed with stripes.

We will venture to say that there are tapes somewhere in the decor of Frogmore Cottage. The stripes are classic for a reason. They work for an actress and British royals.

Markle preferred the white color

Throughout Markle's Toronto home, the color white played a prominent role in the décor. Markle had the most comfortable white sofa in his living room, white chairs and white bedding.

She also favored white walls throughout her house. See how Markle has decorated with shades of white here and here.
