When Google Fi – until recently known as Project Fi – was introduced in 2015, it only worked on Google branded devices, such as the Nexus and, later, the range of Pixel phones. More recently, Google's telecom service has added a number of phones from other companies such as Huawei, Samsung and, yes, Apple.
The latest addition to the group of Google Fi compatible phones is the Moto G7, presented as designed with Fi on board. The latest addition to Motorola's MotoG7 budget is a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2270 x 1080 pixels, a 12 megapixel dual camera system, a 3000 mAh battery and 64 GB of storage. And since it is specifically designed for Fi technology, it will be able to leverage the service's ability to dynamically switch between T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular (rather than, as is the case with phones just Fi compatible, stick with T-Mobile).
The unlocked Moto G7 is priced at $ 299.99 with an estimated shipping date of March 7. However, Google is currently selling it at a pre-sale price of $ 249 (provided you enable it for Google Fi). Meanwhile, Google pushes the previous model, the Moto G6, by reducing it to $ 99.
