The much awaited roller coaster 'Harry Potter & # 39; Universal Orlando are now open

The wait is over for fans of "Harry Potter" anticipating the opening of the latest roller coaster at "The Wizard World of Harry Potter" Universal Orlando Resort.

The park officially opened the Hagrid's Magical Creatures Adventure ride on Thursday. The coaster, in which Universal has invested $ 300 million, has replaced the Dragon's Challenge attraction, which is now closed, reported CNBC. The opening of the coaster is just in time for the summer family vacation season. The entrance to a single park at Universal's Islands of Adventure starts at $ 115 for adults and $ 110 for children.

Ryan Roth, IBISWorld's Senior Sector Analyst, told USA Today that the number of visitors to the parks has only increased since the launch of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Robert Niles, publisher of ThemeParkInsider.com, told USA Today that the theme park would continue to build on the magical success of "Harry Potter".

"Universal will not stop adding Harry Potter attractions to its theme parks until the public stops interest in Harry Potter," he said.
