The murder of Nipsey Hussle invites the gathering of the bands of L.A. Gangs

Nipsey HussleThe death of L.A. gives rise to something extraordinary: an integral peace treaty between several gangs, who demonstrate together to show their love for the murdered rapper.

A peace march took place Friday afternoon in Crenshaw, not far from the place where Nipsey was murdered. We were told that the march was on Thursday night when the gang leaders of Watts, Compton, L.A. and Inglewood all met to discuss a ceasefire.

During the meeting, we were told that leaders had talked about getting their neighborhoods to lay down their guns and show more unity – starting in March, Friday afternoon.

We are told that members of all gangs gather in front of a grocery store under Crenshaw's hood in Nipsey and that they will walk together for a few blocks … to find themselves outside his Marathon clothing store.

There has not been that kind of peace between so many L.A. gangs since 1992. We talked to a community leader, Big U, so that everyone is on the same page.

As for the duration of peace – we are told that no time limit has been discussed, and we hope it will be extended.
