Earlier in the day, we learned that AT & T TV's new live TV streaming service will be launched tomorrow. It is now announced that with this launch, the name change from DIRECTV NOW to AT & T TV NOW will begin this week.

According to our information, the application DIRECTV NOW will begin to be renamed this week as part of the transfer of the new name AT & T TV NOW. It is even possible that the change of name begins tonight. (It's important to remember that not all apps will be renamed on AT & T TV and AT & T TV NOW at the same time.) According to some information, mobile apps will be among the first to receive the update.)

Back on August 13, 2019, AT & T confirmed to Tech Crunch that the name changed from DIRECTV NOW to AT & T TV NOW. Now, it seems that the change is about to happen according to our sources.

Here is a tweet that AT & T made last week about the name change:

What is the difference between AT & T TV and AT & T TV NOW?

AT & T TV NOW will be the new version of DIRECTV NOW. If you are currently subscribed to DIRECTV NOW, your application must automatically update ATT & T NOW when launching the new version. You will get 20 hours of Cloud DVR storage with this service.

AT & T TV is a brand new streaming service. AT & T TV will offer live and on-demand content. The streaming service will soon arrive in some cities, according to the new website. With AT & T TV, you'll have 500 hours of Cloud DVR storage.

Both streaming services will be available via the AT & T TV application. The content and features you see will depend on which services you subscribe to. (Note: AT & T employees told Cord Cutters News that AT & T TV would need at least one decoder.)

We do not yet know exactly what will be different from these two streaming services, apart from the points mentioned above.
