With the destiny 2: Data from the season of opulence, players have datamined the announcement pictures for a next Destiny 2 expansion: Shadow guard.

The dated image of the new patch is likely to be an announcement in the game inviting players to pre-order. The announcement refers to Shadow guard as the "next chapter" of the Destiny experience to come this fall. This comes before Bungie's announcement for the next chapter of Destiny, scheduled for Thursday, June 6th.

The image claims that players will return to the Earth's Moon to face "terrifying shadows". They "will descend into a mysterious enemy citadel" and become a "nightmare killer".

The moon was a favorite place of fans in the original destinywhere the players first met the Hive race. The key art of extension represents a giant fortress on the moon, with the Earth and the traveler hovering in the background.

The datamine also reveals that Shadow guard will have an edition of collectors. destinyThe smaller enlargement of the third year, Rise of The iron, did not offer Collectors Edition. The inclusion of one for Shadow guard could mean that it's a full-fledged expansion like The king caught and Abandoned.

Bungie will probably reveal more details about Destiny 2: Guarding shadows during its flow on June 6th.
