Disney has launched two new "Star Wars" themed attractions in the company's California and Florida theme parks, attracting a crowd of fans looking to enjoy a glass of blue milk while admiring the Millennium Falcon. Now, fans of "Star Wars" can look forward to an "immersive hotel" that will give them the impression of living in "a distant galaxy" with a new "Star Wars" themed hotel at its park theme and seaside resort in Florida.

Called Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the hotel has not yet scheduled opening date, but Disney recently revealed the first details.

Disney describes the hotel as a "two-night experience" where guests spend about 48 hours interacting with Star Wars characters and other "passengers" aboard the Starcruiser, as the hotel will be built to look like an intergalactic spacecraft called Halcyon. .

When they will not be driven to the Galaxy & # 39; s Edge amusement park, Starcruiser guests will be able to dedicate their time to themed activities, such as putting their lightsaber techniques into practice, in part of a special training program. "It's like what we've seen Luke Skywalker doing [in 1977’s “Star Wars: A New Hope”] while he had just learned to use that strength, "said Ann Morrow Johnson, Executive Producer and Creative Director of Walt Disney Imagineering, at the D23 show.

There will also be a ship bridge where guests will be able to interrogate the hotel crew on the operation of Halcyon navigation and weapon systems (fictitious). And Disney executives also said that interactive hotel experiences would include organized battles between the Starcruiser and enemy ships.

The Starcruiser hotel will also feature a "Star Wars" themed bar, called the Silver C Lounge, as well as passenger cabins with windows overlooking the "Star Wars" galaxy. In addition to presenting an "extraterrestrial crew," each Starcruiser window offers breathtaking views of the space "with ever-changing views as the ship moves from one place to another", said Morrow Johnson at the D23.
