The new Disneyland Flex Pass comes with a trap

Disneyland is offering a new annual pass that, he hopes, will help control the huge crowds that visit the park each year.

The new Disney Flex Pass will offer customers who wish to visit the park several times during the year a cheaper option, but it comes with a catch. During off-peak hours, these pass holders will have unlimited access to the parks. On peak days, however, they will have to make reservations in advance via the park's website or application. The passes will allow users to access Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure.

In a statement issued by Fox News, spokesperson Liz Jaeger, "we are still thinking of new ways to continue delivering a world-class customer experience, and this new annual pass project will allow us to continue this legacy, while mitigating the demand. "

Off-peak days usually occur from February to May, from September to October, Monday to Thursday. Some Fridays in January, February, March and November are also available, reports Fox 11.

For weekends and most days in the summer, pass holders will have to make reservations. Some days during spring break, Thanksgiving week and Christmas holidays also require reservations.

DISNEYLAND LIMITS STAR WARS: GALAXY VISITORS AT FOUR HOURS WINDOW

Several days are not available for pass holders.

According to the Disney Parks blog, pass holders will be able to arrange two days of reservation up to 30 days before their visit. Clearly, the number of reservations available per day will be limited and will be influenced by a variety of factors, including expected park capacity, closures and other events.

Passes will be on sale starting May 21 and will come into effect immediately.

This is not the first step that Disney has taken to control the size of the crowd in their parks. It was recently announced that when Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens for the first time on May 31, customers will have to book a four-hour window to visit the country. Starting June 23rd, it will become regularly available to all visitors to the park.
