Ford is also bringing back the California Special option for V8-powered Mustang GTs in 2022.

The package is available on coupes and convertibles and includes a grille with a GT / CS badge instead of the Mustang logo, decals, side scoops, unique five-spoke wheels and a GT Performance Package rear spoiler on models hardtop.

The interior is also dressed in a California Special badge and red stitching for the upholstery, as is the transverse strut through the engine compartment.

For customers looking for a bit of accompaniment, the California Special can be outfitted with the Performance Pack of handling and braking improvements.

Pricing for the Stealth and California Special has yet to be released, but order books will open later this year for deliveries expected in Q1 2022.

It’s not yet clear if Ford plans to offer a stealth version of the near-silent Mustang Mach-E electric SUV, but it’s available with the Ice White pack.
