The legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is now just over two weeks old. A dream come true for fans who have played the original and an enchanting prospect for newcomers like me, this magnificent remake has sounded absolutely fantastic to this day. This trend continues in the new PAX West 2019 game, captured by YouTuber AbdallahSmash026. The video, which you can watch below, shows more than ten minutes of Link's Awakening with the battle Key Cavern and Slime Eye Boss.
Sounds great, does not it? Link's Awakening seems to go wonderfully – whenever I can finally stop drooling on the artistic style long enough to check the game itself, the fight, exploration and puzzle solving all seem incredible. These exciting ten minutes of play are certainly more exciting than the last ten seconds of last week, but they both have the same goal of creating hype.
Speaking of ten-second hype videos, the drip content for Link's Awakening to me hook, line and lead. Every two or three days, we have a new fascinating game to play, or a new teaser site will be launched, or we will learn more about the features of Amiibo. Nintendo has successively dropped a ton of totally tiny information, mostly irrelevant, but together they have managed to drive many of us crazy by anticipation.
