The new OnePlus 7 CAD gives clues on two variants for 2019 – Droid Life

In March, we thought we had our first look at the OnePlus 7. As we learn this week, this may be the OnePlus 7 Pro, a high-end version reported for the OnePlus 7 range. OnLeaks and Pricebaba, we now see CAD renderings for the standard OnePlus 7, a model that has no contextual camera.

In these renderings, the OnePlus 7 looks a lot like the OnePlus 6T, with its tear-resistant notch for the front display and its dual configuration for the rear-facing camera. It was reported that the front screen was 6.2 inches instead of 6.4 inches on the OnePlus 6T.

Other standard OnePlus 7 specifications include a Snapdragon 855, up to 10GB RAM and a 4,150 mAh battery.

This is a strange gesture for OnePlus. We usually receive a phone during the first half of the calendar year and then another during the second half. Considering how much this reported OnePlus 7 looks a lot like the OnePlus 6T, with the exception of internal specifications, we wonder if OnePlus is not entirely confident in the appeal of OnePlus 7 Pro to consumers with its command-driven contextual camera mechanical. It could also mean that the Pro variant could have 5G, making it more expensive. To cope with the potential loss of sales due to price, the standard OnePlus 7 could provide a safety net for the company's bottom line for 2019.

Both aircraft would be launched in mid-May.
