The new ReMIND DLC from Kingdom Hearts III has been announced, but do not call it a final mix

Announcement at the World of Tres Orchestra concert in Japan

When Kingdom Hearts III Arrived earlier this year in January, there was already a lot of uncertainty on the table. Many people did not even think that it would reach its exit target, let alone provide some sort of update for downloadable content anytime soon. Of course, the course has changed, as the great boss Tetsuya Nomura is on stage at the World of Tres concert in Tokyo today to announce Kingdom Hearts DLC.

It's called "ReMIND", according to the strange nomenclature of the series (nothing will ever be top 358/2), and includes an episode with boss fights and a secret episode with a single boss. It is obvious that the Japanese edition will also receive an update of the options in English. Therefore, if you import, you can freely switch between audio in Japanese and English.

For those of you who have not followed the series (and I imagine you are many, it is understandable), Square Enix and Nomura generally reissue editions "Final Mix" from their original Kingdom Hearts games sometime after the launch. Basically, these are slightly reworked versions of the game that offer some sort of shocking end-game content that opens up a new story line or combines several games.

Earlier this year, Nomura said he did not want to go looking for a job. Final mix strategy for Kingdom Hearts III. Instead, he plans to update the game for free over time (like the recent Critical [Extra Hard] difficulty adjusting and a recently announced keyboard shape), and make a huge paid DLC at once. this seems to be Call back.

At the present time, all the announcements and details were hastily made on stage at a concert, but you can bet that Nomura and his team will work out a little before this DLC is aired. Hopefully we'll have it in 2030. My only big wish list item for Call back? More Final Fantasy serial fights.
