Common has released a new song, "HER Love", starring Daniel Caesar and Dwele. The song contains an unprecedented beat from J Dilla. Watch the video clip below, directed by Savanah Leaf.
According to a press release, the word "HER" from "HER Love" means "(Hip Hop in its essence is real)", the same acronym made famous by the single from Common entitled "I Used to Love HER" from 1994. The song will appear on the rapper's next studio album, which will be released later this year and will mark his first album since 2016 Black America Again.
