Valve is preparing a new look for the digital tablets that store your games, expanding the display of the customer's library with more information about game updates and what your friends are doing. Basically, they repaint digital tablets and insert an iPad between the fiction and poetry sections. Excellent metaphor, Alice. Valve is trying to test the new Steam library before distributing it to everyone. So you can now choose the open beta to see for yourself.
The new library landing page provides an overview of recent updates, recently played games, games your friends played, and collections in which you sorted games. Currently / previously, the library opens on the last page of the game you have left. Now you'll have a better idea of what's going on with your games and your friends. Games can also insert "events" into the library feed to talk about this beyond updates (which are different from existing community events that display notifications). The individual game pages are also revised.

Our Graham recently went to see the new Steam library while Valve's Alden Kroll was talking about it and talking about Steam. It's a good step in Steam's journey, but not big, the big man told himself.
