Sony's latest video for the next PlayStation 4 exclusive Past days gives players a glimpse of the dangerous landscape that the world is becoming. It's a place where zombie-like creatures, Freakers, roam, scattered bandits and sects vie for control, and even animals, whether infected or not, must be watched. It's a world, according to Bend Studio Creative Director John Garvin, who wants to kill you.

Garvin talked about the world of Past days The above video from Sony shows how impressive the setting is, but also how much of it is deadly. We have seen some of the enemies of Past days In the past, many of them were made up of various types of Freakers, and they feature throughout this video. Swarmers, Breakers and other types of enemies constantly encircle the players and threaten to make them lose.

"It's a dangerous world wherever you go," said Garvin about Days Gone's setting. "We fix Past days in this world because we had not seen it much in video games, and this brought to the experience something we really, really needed. "

He went on to say that despite the obvious threats from enemies such as the Freakers that littered the world, even the weather was kind to get you in. Past days.

"The danger does not just come from the Freakers, but from the Marauders who want to empty you from your bike. This comes from the weather that will prevent you from staying on a muddy trail. The world changes after dark. More freakers are coming out. It's brutal and hard.

Fortunately, players are not thrown into this world without a way to defend themselves. Later in the video, Garvin talks about the tools players have to deal with these threats. We see a combat wheel around two minutes and 45 seconds away showing what looks like a shotgun, as well as a melee point weapon and a handgun. Other options, such as a Molotov cocktail, are available to eliminate hordes of enemies resembling zombies.

Past days should be released on PlayStation 4 on April 26th.
