Madonna shared the last offer of her next album Madame X. It is called "Dark Ballet" and arrives with a video directed by Emmanuel Adjei and staging Mykki Blanco in the role of Joan of Arc. Look below.
In a statement, Madonna said the single was inspired by Joan: "She beat the English and she won, but the French were still not happy. They judged her again. They said that she was a man, they said that she was a lesbian, they said that she was a witch and, in the end, they burned her at the stake and she feared nothing. I admire that.
The new Madge track follows Madame X "Medellín" (with Maluma), "I Rise", "Crave" (with Swae Lee) and "Future", his collaboration with Quavo and Diplo.
Last month, Madonna played "Future" alongside Quavo at the controversial Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv. Madame X Released June 14th via Live Nation / Interscope / Maverick.
