The next update of Star Citizen adds a new planet and playable female avatars

Star CitizenThe next update, alpha 3.5, will provide the game's newest world: ArcCorp, a huge, built-up planet that gives Coruscant the appearance of an urban planning model.

This will not be the only feature offered by the game. Female avatars can be chosen for players for the first time, among several other choices in a revised character creation suite. There is also a new flight control system and, of course, six ships on sale for $ 65 to $ 95.

ArcCorp, in the game's Stanton system, is covered with artificial structures. Players can explore Area18's main landing zone and find jobs at the NPCs that provide the quests. In addition, in alpha 3.5, the gravity will be integrated with the atmospheric flight, which will make this part of the experience more realistic (or true to what we imagine, I suppose).

As far as player customization is concerned, Chris Roberts, founder of Cloud Imperium Games, said in a statement that he would be relying on a "revolutionary Gene Splicing system," which allows players to merge features to create a realistic character.

"The advantage of this approach," he added, "is that you always get realistic players, not huge monsters that can sometimes be created using more traditional techniques."

More on the update to Star CitizenThe persistent universe is here. No delay has been given for the publication of alpha 3.5. Star Citizen is working for a launch in 2020 of the solo version of the long-awaited game, Squadron 42. Development on Star Citizen started in 2012.
