The Nintendo switch goes green, available for pre-order now

The Nintendo Switch is proposing new color options for its Joy-Cons later this year, but any of them will only be available through Best Buy in the United States. Green Joy-Cons is available for pre-order at the retailer and its release date is set for October 27th.

Other Joy-Con colors launched in October include a pair of blue and yellow fluo and a neon violet and neon orange pair (or as I call them Wal-digi and Wario Joy-Cons). They arrive on October 4th.

One important thing to note about Joy-Cons is that many reports of analog stick drift have been reported in recent weeks. Nintendo has solved this problem and is currently offering free patches and Joy-Con refunds to those who have already paid for repairs. I recently sent a pair of Joy-Cons and I have not been charged for the service. It is unclear if Nintendo will take steps to prevent this from happening with the new Joy-Con models.

You can also pre-order the Nintendo Switch Lite now. This includes the gray, yellow and turquoise models, in addition to the Zacian and Zamazenta versions. The first three colors will be available on September 20, while the Zacian and Zamazenta editions will be available November 8, a week before Pokemon Sword / Shield.
