College Station was truly a spectacle after a dramatic affair.

If you dive into the numbers, this upheaval by Texas A&M puts an end to several impressive streaks in Alabama. The last time the Tide suffered loss was a long time ago, and the world was different – to say the least.

100: Alabama’s loss to unranked Texas A&M on Saturday ended an incredible 100-game winning streak against such competition. The last unranked opponent to beat the Bama was UL Monroe. The year the Warhawks won against the Tide was 2007 – if you didn’t know. To put that loss into perspective, Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” was the No. 1 song this calendar year, according to Billboard.

24: Saban has dominated his former assistants, having never lost in the previous 24 games against someone who was on his coaching staff. Jimbo Fisher becomes the first coach to beat his former boss – and that’s not all for Coach Aggies. This is his first victory against a team ranked No. 1 in the AP. Fisher was 0-6 before this victory. He coached with Saban at LSU from 2000 to 2004.

65-of-121: During the college football playoff era – which began in 2014 – Alabama was ranked No.1 in polls 65 out of the total 121 weeks. That’s 54% of the surveys available. All the other teams held first place for the remaining 56 weeks. After Georgia’s victory and Bama’s defeat, that number is likely to rise to 57. Nonetheless, another dominant statistic for Saban’s squad.

19: Texas A&M’s spirited victory over Tide ends a 19-game winning streak for them. It was the longest active streak in the FBS entering Saturday. It was another great game for what was already an eventful day in college football.
